Work With Me

I teach online and in-person in Chicago at my studio in Wicker Park/ Bucktown.

Home visits available in the Chicago area.

If you have any of these concerns, you’ve come to the right place!

The method I teach, Alexander Technique, is not a substitute for medical treatment. What it offers as an educational method is a sense of agency - as students become more knowledgeable about their own body and able to attend to and coordinate the whole - not just one “affected” part. Having more positive experiences of your own body helps you move with more ease and less fear.

Many students find AT valuable as the “missing piece” that complements other treatment for pain and stress. I have worked with students with the following issues:

  • Low back pain

  • Sciatica, pain with sitting

  • Shoulder tension

  • Forward head posture

  • “Poor posture”

  • Neck pain

  • Jaw pain/ TMJ

  • Tension headaches

  • Eyestrain & “Zoom Fatigue”

  • Pelvic floor disorders

  • Repetitive strain/ carpal tunnel

  • Anxiety disorders

  • Performance anxiety

  • Trouble relaxing

  • Difficulty sleeping

Has there been research on AT? Yes!
